Lovely experience
My partner and I did a lot of research and ultimately decided to book with Chapa Express for our trip to Sapa. We had no idea what to expect but were pleasantly surprised upon entering our private cabin. We enjoyed the comfy room, friendly staff, cool views, and the uninterrupted sleep we got! Would love to ride again 😊
Amazing train ride
I took the night bus up to Sapa and this was a world of difference. Such a nice cabin, comfortable and quiet. Lovely ride and the lounge is super nice with free dinner even. Amazing!!
It was a good experience
If you want to try taking the train, it is a good experience。 It is very noisy and bumpy. Overall, the experience is good. However, the service at the train station's information counter is very poor. When you ask a question, they look very unhappy.
Fun and Unique Journey on the Chapa Train to Sa Pa
While most travelers prioritize speed from a plane, bus, or van, taking the overnight Chapa Train to Sa Pa gives you a classic, fun and unique experience. The cozy cabin was beautifully decorated with fabrics made by local villages in Sa Pa, accompanied by a pamphlet with fascinating information about the region. Despite some bumpy moments throughout the night, the train moved swiftly and got us to Sa Pa safely overnight. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I'm glad I experienced this memorable journey during my travels in Vietnam.

Great Experience on Chapa train
It was great experience for 1st time travel from Hanoi to Sapa. The decoration of the cabin was great. With the space given , 2 to a cabin is barely accommodate , for 4 to a cabin is too squeezy. The traditional train noise and bumpiness is unable to catch some sleep.
