Excellent and memorable journey
Super efficient and smooth ride. Right from buying of thicket, to checking in to boarding and to shuttle transfer, everything was efficient and fuss-free. Booked the private cabin for 2, clean and cosy. Feels like a hotel on wheels. Compare this to a sleeper bus, though the train ticket is a bit more expensive, this is by far the most comfortable and an enjoyable experience for us.

Thanks for a lovely evening. The accommodations were comfy and cozy and the staff were pleasant, welcoming and very helpful. The VIP experience and breakfast in Lao Cai was worth the additional expense.
Short Trip to Sapa
I'd recommend using this service. Easy to book. The cabin is very well prepared, with free food and drinks. However, please note that the morning coffee/ chocolate is not part of the package - we need to pay separately.

Outstanding mode of transport!
I saw mixed reviews of the train, but our experience was outstanding. Communication was clear from the beginning and I like that I could easily contact someone via WhatsApp (which came in handy when I accidentally booked my ticket twice which they instantly refunded). My husband and I got a cabin to ourselves and it was so cozy! It was extremely clean and comfotable. Honestly, I didn’t wake up once until the wake up call around 530 when we were reaching sapa (and that was without the ear plugs they offered!). We also opted to get the transfer to sapa town which was equally as seamless … someone was waiting with our name when we left the train. 10/10 recommend. It was perfect!

Comfortable and clean cabins with WIFI and complimentary snacks, slept soundly on the bed throughout the train ride, posh lounge at the Lao Cai Station, and they had a shuttle that will drop you right at your hotel in Sapa. 5/5!
