夢のような光景
走り出してすぐ、線路脇カフェの間を走り抜ける時の光景は夢のようでした。途中で通過する駅などは明るく、窓から光が射すので、よく寝たい場合はカーテンを閉めておくとよいです。隣室のお客さんが、走り出す前には少しうるさかったのですが、すぐに静かになってくれたので安心しました。

Clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff and handy complimentary items and snacks. Toilets are clean. Very hard to sleep because the train rocks quite a lot.

Highly recommended Chapa Express Train. The train (coach, beds and toilet) was very clean Beds were comfortable, the coach had several amenities (wifi, electric plugs, air cond, water, snacks and beverages, toothbrush, comb and earplugs). Our journey from Lai Cai to Hanoi was very pleasant. Train was on perfect time

The train is very comfortable and clean. It left Hanoi and arrived to Sapa on time. It’s a nice experience, different from sleeping bus, that we liked so much!

My mother and I booked a double cabin from Hanoi to Lao Cai through chapaexpresstrain.com. The experience could not of been better! Super responsive over message (in my case, Zalo) regarding any questions I had and a super smooth onboarding process. Would travel with them again. The only thing we wish is that the coffee or tea offered in the morning was included in the price... :)

Comfortable and clean
Our favourite Vietnam night train experience
Of our three different night train journeys in a VIP cabin for two, Chapa was easily the one that best fit the "luxury" brief. The cabin and shared amenities were clean and the best quality of them all (comparing with Damitrans from Hanoi to Sapa and Lotus from Ninh BInh to Hue). The complementary beer was cold and red wine was also on offer. The black painted walls made the cabin feel a little more "closed in" that what it was, but that was only slightly negative aspect), Very enjoyable train journey.
